Just Checking

Hi all,

I am wondering if people who have English Literacy Resource Room materials in the mail or in the back of the closet waiting to be mailed could respond to this post. I would like to get an idea of the types of things coming, amount coming, and timing so I can make plans for the opening ceremony and literacy room events.

Thanks!

Yes, we are amongst the delinquents, as I have Pam's donations still in a box. I will take inventory - then put in an m-bag and mail for you!
Glad you had a wonderful time with Lady. We miss you too!

I just came across your journal about your adventures in Mongolia. I added a link to your page to a database I collected of Peace Corps Journals and blogs:

http://www.PeaceCorpsJournals.com/

Features:
1. Contains over 1,300 journals and blogs from Peace Corps Volunteers serving around the world.
2. Each country has its own detailed page, which is easily accessible with a possible slow Internet connection within the field.
3. The map for every country becomes interactive, via Google, once clicked on.
4. Contact information for every Peace Corps staff member worldwide.
5. Official rules and regulations for current PCV online Journals and blogs. Those rules were acquired from Peace Corps Headquarters using the Freedom of Information Act.
6. Links to Graduate School Programs affiliated with Peace Corps, along with RPCVs Regional Associations.

There is also an e-mail link on every page. If you want to add a journal, spotted a dead link, or have a comment.

Thanks for volunteering with the Peace Corps!

I may have some books that a friend left me at school, but I won't know until sometime after Aug. 24. Until then, I think you should break the suspense and post a new blog. I'm tired of reading this one.

Okay, so the books I was planning on sending on behalf of my friend were removed from the storage facility and I don't know where they are. Heretofore, I will not be sending a literary donation. Hence, you may put an end to this current blog stasis and apprise us about the current goings on of life in Mongolia. We're curious. Humor us. I beg of you.

This is for Matthew.
Apparently Sierra just got back from a girls weekend in the Gobi. It sounds very exotic and mysterious because that's all she said about it. I hope this helps ease the waiting pain in some small way. (It worked for me).

ps to S - I don't have books but a big box of food is coming your way. Love M
